The Achtenberg Family

Our family consists of Tom, Barb, Jim, Donn and Christal.

Barb and Tom celebrated their 30th anniversary in September in Hawai'i
With all the kids on thier own, we down sized to a smaller new home in November 2004!

Both Barb and Tom are ukulele players with the Phoenix Ukulele club.

Tom is a SQL Programmer/Report Writer MV Transportation in Fairfield, CA. He telecommutes from home. He earned an MBA in IT at Western International University. He earned a 3.946 GPA.

Barb is the Secretary/Office Manager for Mike Cross Insurance, part of the Farmers Group. She has been with Mike over 15 years

Jim is an electrician. He married Jessica Curtis September 2003. In February 2006 he won the Arizona Electricians Olympics and in the Fall was named Electrician Apprentice of the Year by the Arizona Builders Alliance. Jessica is a elementary school teacher. In 2008 their son Cooper James was born! They live in Avondale, AZ.

Donn is a Certified Pharmacy Tech at CVS. In the Fall 2007 he started course work aimed at getting into the Physicians Assistant program at Midwestern University.

Christal is an 8th grade math teacher in the Deer Valley School District.

And we cannot forget the furry four legged kids Reese, Joy and our newest addition Lucky.

Angel became a victim of puppy mill inbreeding one day short of her 1st birthday 8/14/2006

DO NOT patronize shopping mall puppy stores like Animal Kingdom or Puppy Love in Phoenix. They get their puppies from the horrible puppy mills in the Midwest. They say they guarantee against genetic defects but do not live up to it. Angel had so much inbreeding AKC refused to register her.

 We attend Christ's Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona.
